About Me
“You and everyone you know are going to be dead soon. And in the short amount of time between here and there, you have a limited amount of fucks to give. Very few, in fact. And if you go around giving a fuck about everything and everyone without conscious thought or choice—well, then you’re going to get fucked.”
― Mark Manson, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck
Hi, I’m a millennial blogger, yes! One of those who started blogging in the golden era of 2006, when Tumblr was therapy, and we overshared on Blogspot like no one was watching (because, honestly, no one was).
Fresh out of university, I wrote about everything, emotions, rants, anxiety, heartbreaks, existential dread… you get the idea. But after a while, I hit pause. Reading old posts felt like emotional archaeology, digging up artifacts from my 20s that were best left buried. And truthfully, channeling all that negativity into words wasn’t doing wonders for my mental health. Also, let’s face it: personal blogs faded, and we all migrated to YouTube, TikTok, or just became lurkers with trust issues.
But plot twist: I’m back. This time, with a purpose.
I’ve rediscovered my love for writing but now with less emo and more InfoSec. I’ll be talking about Information Security and Cybersecurity, because that’s where my passion and career collide.
Right now, I’m based in Finland (hello from the land of saunas and silence), but who knows where I’ll end up next? The world is basically my playground and I pack light.
Professionally, I’ve worked across international organizations, banking and finance, law enforcement, legal, and manufacturing sectors. Each industry comes with its own flavor of cybersecurity madness. From compliance puzzles to policy dramas. How does it all work? Sometimes I know. Sometimes I Google. Either way, I’m writing about it.
Disclaimer: This won’t be a hyper-technical blog. You won’t find lines of code or script walkthroughs here. What you will find? Honest stories, sharp takes, and maybe a little drama from the trenches of cybersecurity.
If I may add another diclaimer, my views and opinions may not necessarily reflect that of any organization (s) that I am currently affiliated with or that of I had been previously employed. This is my own blog, therefore, my own views and opinions.
